Will Apple lead the market higher?

Can Apple top its historic last quarter?

As measured by current stock market value, Apple Inc. is the largest company in U. S. history. It is enormously profitable, but most of its profit depends on the sale of iPhones. Its stock is once again nearing it's all time high.

On Monday Apple gives it's quarterly report after the close of the market. Apple is part of both the DJIA and the Nasdaq indexes, so it's stock price is especially influential on the rest of the markets. A number of large technology companies have reported favorable results for the first quarter and if Apple continues that trend this week, the entire market may be lifted higher.
